Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities Analyst

 

Create strategies in Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities with a focus on inefficiencies in fundamental asset value, structure, and control rights.  The CMBSAnalyst will develop infrastructure and analytics around CMBS.  This would involve (a) aggregating and maintaining CMBS/CRE Data, (b) building a valuations framework for Legacy CMBS (NOI / Cap-Rate forecasts, etc.), (c) generating security and cohort level surveillance reports, etc.  The CMBS Analyst will also utilize data and analytics to develop relative value and fundamental investment decisions in CMBX, Legacy CMBS, and CMBS 2.0, and will re-underwrite seasoned loans in CMBS transactions.  Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the CRE and CMBS Industry, will be a self-starter with a strong quantitative background, and will have relationships within the Special Servicer Community.
