Senior Java Developer Analytics Software Financial Firm, NYC AVP level Main Function This position is to re-engineer and lead develop a strategic analytics service platform to streamline pricing process for Portfolio Analysis Platform which has a scalable architecture to support the growth of client applications. Candidates for this position must have good experience in Java application development and software development life cycle, knowledge of fixed income analytics. The candidate should possess a sound background in Multi-threading, Object Oriented Design, Refactoring and Unit Testing applications. The candidate should be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, have strong communication skills and be efficient in collaboration across multiple teams. Portfolio Analysis Platform is an Award winning product which provides comprehensive solutions for every stage of the investment process to meet the demands from risk and portfolio managers from the largest and most sophisticated money managers and hedge funds to manage their portfolios. Their positions are loaded overnight using our batch systems, they can then analyze the impact of potential trades intraday on their portfolios using our analytical tools and models

Main Duties Lead development of analytics components with scalable architecture and improve pricing process of Portfolio Analysis Platform.
