Analyst Level (2-7 yrs of professional experience)


Summary:  Person must have minimum 1 years of client on-boarding experience.  Must have at least a general understanding of connectivity, encryption, networks, firewall, FTP and TCP/IP protocol.  Basic knowledge of UNIX, Windows and Shell or Perl scripting is also a plus.   Person should not have less than 1-2 yrs experience and more than 5-7 and person is likely to be too senior for the role.  

Main Function
The bank seeks a "Client On-boarding Analyst" for its Jersey City, New Jersey location.
The primary responsibility is to provide Client Integration/OnBoarding/IT support to Prime Brokerage applications.
Person should be able to work with minimal supervision and manage business expectations in a high demanding global environment.


Main Duties
·         All technical aspects of the client on-boarding process as well as managing relationship with the client's technical contact.
·         Supporting clients by analyzing specific requirements to establish client connectivity for transaction processing/Reporting.
·         Assisting in proposing technical solutions, testing with the client, and troubleshooting technical issues.
·         Work closely with the Prime Brokerage Client Integration and Client Services desk and initiate follow-up with clients to resolve problems.
·         Working on BAU support tasks including ad-hoc reporting and assisting front office and client initiatives including QA/testing activities where necessary.
·         General Application and business process support, including out of hours work


Person Requirements
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS degree required.
         18 months + On Boarding experience
Preferred Qualifications
         Prefer working experience in Financial Services or related field.
·         An excellent and open communicator, able to confidently discuss technical matters with clients, senior management and IT departments.
·         General understanding of connectivity, encryption, networks, firewall and FTP, TCP/IP protocol.
·         Must show rigour, attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
·         Self-starter willing to take ownership of issues, projects and tasks and manage them through to resolution / completion.
·         Ability to read and understand programming code (this is not a programming position).
·         Required Technical Skills: Working knowledge of SQL language.
·         Desirable Technical Skills: Working knowledge in application and programming tools, including UNIX(LINUX/Solaris),Windows Server, Scripting (PERL/Shell).
