Main Function

The Core Dev team in the bank which develops and supports the bank's advanced portfolio analytics platform is looking for senior java developer / architect to assist in supporting the scalability, reliability and growth of a high volume, high throughput reporting system mostly built in pure Java running in WebLogic using a Service Oriented Architecture.

Position is expected to work on architectural improvements to enhance the overall client experience on the platform. Candidates for this position must have good analytical and problem-solving skills; experience in Java application development and software development life cycle. The candidate should possess a sound background in Multi-threading, Object Oriented Design, Refactoring and Unit Testing applications. The candidate should be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and have strong communication skills.

Main Duties

Redesign and enhance existing portfolio analysis platform architecture to improve scalability and reliability.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years Java Development

5+ years Linux experience

3+ years WebLogic experience

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant experience programming concurrent applications

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Knowledge of caching a plus
