Peru in Crisis: "The Lima Stock Exchange on Monday suspended trade until 10 o'clock local time (11:00 EDT) after the broad General Index fell 8.71% at the opening."

LIMA (Dow Jones)--The Lima Stock Exchange on Monday suspended trade until 10 o'clock local time (11:00 EDT) after the broad General Index fell 8.71% at the opening. 
The blue-chip Selective index declined 9.6% in early trade, a trader said. 
Peru's main stock market indexes fell following the victory in a run off vote for president by left-wing nationalist Ollanta Humala on Sunday. 
The General index was down 2.34% on Friday. "
