IT Funds Solutions is an IT function that support the Funds Solutions business at the Bank.  This IT group works on multiple work-streams to support a growing Global business. The workstreams include an Asset Management Platform, Trade Approval Workflow, CRM, Client Portal, Risk Management and Product Development Initiatives.  Team supports front office and are an asset class neutral structuring team whose mission is to develop sophisticated issuing platforms, quantitative asset allocation strategies and deliver cross asset investment products that meet specific client needs. Team provides support to Banks Asset Mgmt facility.  IT Funds Solutions support the business by providing short term tactical solutions as well as strategic IT initiatives to expand this business area further

Main Function This role is to be part of our Global Support team providing comprehensive technical and application support to the Business team. This is a challenging role that requires committed, team-orientated and flexible individuals with strong academic records and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  The role will involve support tasks that embrace the entire suite of the Banks products and close contact with traders, Fund Managers and other BCFS users within from an early stage. There will also be a requirement to participate in Disaster Recovery testing and, on occasions, help the BTB (Build the Bank team) implement releases.

Main Duties Full Application Management / Support of IT platforms / applications Answer calls from users and resolve them in a timely manor  Provide technical expertise to both users and 3rd party vendors Track all calls and internal technical issues Package and release code and system patches Follow technical support processes and procedures handbook Escalate critical issues to the relevant departments  Identify common issues and techniques for addition to Knowledge Base Manage multiple issues simultaneously Identify workarounds to bugs and issues whenever possible and document on team Wiki. Identify and assist in implementing projects that benefit the business users Manage Support SLA’s with third party vendors

Person Requirements Basic Qualifications   Bachelors Degree 5 + years of knowledge of Asset Management business.   Preferred Qualifcations Linedata vendor system experience  (Longview Trading System and Fund Manager would be would be advantageous)  Computing or other science/business degree Working experience in software support or customer-service role Knowledge of SQL Knowledge of databases and programming language particular in Oracle with PL/SQL and MS SQL Server with VB.Net Ability to work effectively in a close-knit team as well as independently Self sufficient and motivated Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience and exposure to financial industry, including Fund Accounting and buy side trading applications and protocols (OMS, EMS, FIX protocol)
