Unemployment rate drops to 8.9 percent. HAS the economy TURNED A CORNER???

The economy added 192,000 jobs in February, the best showing since May of last year, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday. The politically important unemployment rate fell from 9 percent to 8.9 percent. Economists viewed the employment numbers as “solid” but not “ebullient.” The numbers were a marked improvement over January, when 63,000 jobs were created. (That figure is from a revised report.)
