Work closely with a trading group in Asia to develop fast and elegant tools for high frequency, low latency trading systems. Because this group trades the Asian markets, you will be working 5:30 pm to 1 am.

Desktop Support/ Client OnBoarding, Trading Systems Roll out
Large Financial Company/ Jersey City
Consulting Position (Rate / Duration TBD)


Note: Our client is rolling out a new Futures Trading Platform and this position will focus on the client (trader) on-boarding, application installation on desktop, connectivity of desktop apps and general desktop troubleshooting. Experience supporting Futures markets is a plus but not required. Team would like to hire an experienced person with 5+ years of experience who can hit ground running.

Person Requirements:
? Experience of trouble shooting application installations and connectivity issues.
? Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows desktop environment.
? Knowledge of client set up and administrative on boarding.
? Basic Project Management skills.
? Ability to train users in confident manner - proven previous experience.
? Knowledge of the Futures markets.
? Experience of using or supporting Futures electronic execution systems.
? Experience of working in a Front Office environment.
? Strong communications Skills (verbal & written)
? Proven track record of working effectively as part of a team.
? Any other language skill will be advantageous

Note:   Client is rolling out new Futures Trading Platform and they're seeking a junior to mid-level person with 3-7 years experience to troubleshoot desktop/application problems, assist with client on-borading and troubleshoot FIX connectivity. 

Main Function
Client onboarding, resolution of client and application issues stemming from client’s use of BARX Live (FX, FX Options, Metals, Money Markets), FX FIX connections, Business support, trade issue resolution, new client set-up, creation and contribution to MIS data, training users.

Main Duties

Liaison between IT, Operations, Business Desks and Clients.
Involvement with Client set-up, installations and upgrades.
Problem management and escalation.
Close interaction with Sales and Traders.
Understanding the various business areas to ensure concise assistance and feedback to the users.
Person Requirements
Basic Qualifications
BA Degree (or equivalent)
 5 - 7 years experience of 1st and 2nd line client and trade support.

Preferred Qualifications

Series 7, 63 and/or 3 licenses
Knowledge of the FX and Commodities markets, Front office operations
Client facing experience
Investment Banking
Strong Sales/Trading business knowledge
