Summary:  Positions is for a senior developer with 8+ years experience with strong server side Java coding skills and strong database development skills.   Position is responsible for development of real time trade capture system and intraday risk system.  

Position Description:

Hands-on data-oriented developer/architect required to perform a strategic renovation on mission critical Credit Risk data infrastructure. This individual will work with users and fellow developers/architects to understand business/technology requirements, derivative products, and existing data flows in order to renovate and enhance functionalities. This role requires an individual who is experienced in large batch oriented systems, as well as real-time event-driven high-throughput systems.
Key technologies are Java, Informatica, DB2, Perl, Unix shell scripting, and Autosys. The system processes OTC derivatives data, listed derivatives, futures, options, repos, stock loan, and other instruments which carry counterparty risk. Prior experience with financial data required. Prior experience with team leadership, project management, and large system design strongly desired.

Skills Required:
3+ years experience in relational database technology, including design, development, and performance tuning.
3+ years Core Java with multithreading.
3+ years Perl and/or Unix Shell scripting
Prior experience with financial products, preferably OTC Derivatives
Working knowledge of Informatica a plus
