The Bank has launched a strategic initiative to review and re-engineer its client on-boarding processes. The on-boarding processes drive the introduction of new revenue to the firm. The scope includes all businesses and spans the setup of new and expansion of existing client relationships
across all infrastructure touch points, through to downstream trading and risk systems. In its current state, the process is de-centralized, inefficient

and not optimized from an efficiency, cost and client experience perspective.

The objectives of the program are to:
Ensure process efficiencies to decrease time to revenue
Increase client satisfaction
Ensure and enable compliance with new regulatory reform
Deliver cost savings for the firm.
An experienced Senior Technology Project Manager is required to lead the Technology workstream within the Client Onboarding (COB) Program. Reporting to

the Head of Client Onboarding and responsible for the day-to-day running and implementation of various technology deliverables.
Main Duties
The successful candidate will have proven experience in delivering complex, multi team, high profile projects and is a strong believer in Agile and lean

approaches to delivery.
The role will involve working on concurrent large scale software development/implementation projects through management and influence of scope,

schedule, issues/risks, trade-offs, dependencies communications and expectations as well as dealing with ambiguity and being able to adapt to change

rapidly in response to business conditions

This position also acts as a functional and technical leader for application development and management, representing the needs of both business and

application development teams.

Leadership
- Takes ownership and responsibility for the program and its successful delivery

- Maintains the motivation within the program and supports the members of the program in every way possible to ensure success

- Understands the organization objectives and ensures that the members of the program are fully aware of why they are doing what they have been asked to

achieve
Agile Knowledge and experience
- Expert knowledge and proven experience in the successful application of agile and lean techniques including Scrum, Waterfall, RUP at a team and

program level
- Coaches and mentors within the program along with members of the build teams to ensure that appropriate agile and lean best practices and adopted,

developed and maintained
- Coaches stakeholders and non-core team members on the process, output and benefits of the process and how they can help the teams achieve their and

the associated organization goals

Facilitation & Communication
- Able to clearly communicate at every level in the organization from C suite to build teams, using a variety of methods and appropriate language all

aspects of the program including the process, vision and position
- Negotiates with stakeholders to agree the best approach to deliver the greatest value for the organization
- Owns program practices to ensure cohesion and rhythm within the program and interfaces with dependent programs
- Seeks to continually improve the performance of the program and to ensure that the teams within it deliver against their agreed commitments
- Creates relationships with all key stakeholders to understand their motivations and to keep them involved and engaged in the program
- Continually working to remove barriers to success

Planning & Organization
- Experienced and comfortable managing programs of 10 + globally distributed teams, including third party suppliers, working within the same program to

the same set of objectives, creating a sense of teamwork by pulling together the different members of these teams who may be unrelated and dissimilar
- Works with various people within the business to shape and define the program, its vision, alignment to strategic objectives, initiatives and release

schedule
- Ensures that cross program dependencies are understood by all affected parties, communicated and are managed
- Gains commitment from the teams on the delivery schedule
- Promotes and champions change through generation of innovative solutions, both as an individual and by involvement and inclusion of the team, which

improve the performance of the existing resources, processes and progress towards the program objectives
- Maintains a structured approach to managing change that is transparent and sustainable

Person Requirements
Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree
- 10 years + global Investment Banking environment, with strong management skills in analyzing business processes
- 10 years + business analysis and project management experience with global teams

Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience with managing complex technology programs of work with multiple concurrent projects

Background from either IT development or from IT Technical/ Business analysis required

Understanding of the process to onboard new clients

Detailed knowledge of global compliance projects

Understanding and experience of managing regulatory change – ideally Dodd-Frank and/ or FATCA

Strong SQL knowledge

Extensive experience in business process modeling using MS Visio, Rational Rose, IBM WebSphere to develop various UML, Use Case, Activity, Sequence

Class, Object, State and Business Workflow diagrams

Strong experience in understanding and experiencing implementing DMS, OCR and search engine technologies such as IBM CMOD and Oracle’s Endeca

Proactive team player with well developed interpersonal skills

Ability to deal with high stress situations calmly

Ability to influence junior developers and project managers

Project Management

Structured software development lifecycle best practices

Knowledge of agile delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, RUP, Agile Scrum, Agile XP

Project management tools and processes

Estimation skills and methodologies

Resource scheduling

Risk, issue and dependency management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders. Capable of developing

effective relationships throughout various levels in the organization

Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting demands and to form independent views

Experience with developing workflow technology solutions and understanding the design impact of each technology (e.g. benefits and consideration matrix, common scenarios and solutions)
