Summary:   Project Manager role to support Development and Support initiatives for the firms Portfolio Analytics and Risk Platform.   Will work in PMO. 

Will be responsible for up to 30+ projects ranging from small short-term projects to larger multi-year projects.   Projects will cover application

development, infrastructure and support initiatives to support this Portfolio Analytics and Risk Platform.  This area of firm uses ITIL methodology.  

This is VP level.  



Main Function
This role is within the Point application team, covering mainly RTB projects and assisting in some of BTB areas. POINT is part of Research IT in Client

Facing Technology at the bank. The team responsibilities are development of POINT application, supporting Operations and Run The Bank teams, and

implementing various business and IT projects.

The candidate will work under the program manager in POINT team, and will be responsible for maintaining the POINT IT Program. The program consists of

several RTB and BTB projects. The project manager will schedule and attending meetings, manages technical issues and project progress, and follows up on

various technical and project tasks. Using SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Excel, and other Office applications will be part of the responsibilities

POINT is a multi-currency, multi-asset platform with a wide array of advanced portfolio analytics tools including the global risk model and optimizer,

hybrid performance attribution, scenario analysis, and market exposure reporting.

Main Duties
This role requires excellent communication skills, results oriented, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to a wide variety of management and

technical tasks. A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of job experience in related roles are required. Understanding IT processes, experience

in technology application and infrastructure areas, and relevant project management or leadership roles is a plus. A high level of excellence and

competency is expected of the candidate.

Some of the responsibilities include:

As part of the PMO, manage the IPRS RTB and BTB program. The main responsibility is on RTB projects. At present there are about 30 projects in scope.

The majority of the projects are small, spanning several weeks. A few are medium sized and take a few months, and a few are large size projects and will

go on for a year or longer. Project areas are hardware capacity and planning stability of the environment, issue and incident management, infrastructure

resiliency and security, obsolescence, operations, client services, and other RTB processes. Depending on the work load and relevance, the project

manager may also help with BTB and development projects.

- Schedule, manage, and follow up on project tasks within POINT.

- Coordinate and host meetings and manage various work threads with RTB, infrastructure, and application teams

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
5 years + Project Manager experience
Preferred Qualifications
Having strong interpersonal skills is a requirement of the role.
Effective communication, leadership skills, delegation, high productivity and time management are expected from the candidate.
The ability to lead and keep the project teams focused on deliveries and goals, while maintaining positive and cordial interaction is highly desired.
Prior experience in IT infrastructure, operations, or application development areas is also desired.
